Edvard Grieg had a remarkable gift for melodies, none more memorable that the ones he created for Ibsens play Peer Gynt. Famed for his performance at the royal wedding in 2018, cellist Sheku Kanneh-Mason explores the rich, dark textures of Edward Elgars profound concerto, and Dudamel completes the evening with that British composers imposing Enigma Variations.
