The Colburn Orchestra will perform a series of concerts from September 2024 to April 2025 at the Colburn School and various venues in Los Angeles. The season will feature a mix of classical masterpieces under the baton of distinguished conductors such as Carlos Miguel Prieto, Esa-Pekka Salonen, and Lidiya Yankovskaya, along with performances by talented soloists including clarinetist Bence Bubreg and violinist Duncan McDougall. The opening concert on September 28 includes Wagner's Prelude from Tristan und Isolde, Nielsen's Concerto for Clarinet and Orchestra, and Brahms’s Symphony No. 3. Throughout the season, audiences can look forward to works by composers such as Strauss, Debussy, Shostakovich, Gershwin, and Dvořák.
