Following the star-studded June 9 and 10, 2006 Gala Benefit opening of Broadway: Our Way at STERLING'S UPSTAIRS AT VITELLO's, plus headlining appearances by two-time Grammy nominee and Broadway star Amick Byram, and Broadway musical theatre star Joan Ryan, the all new, elegant supper club is pleased to announce its July, 2006 roster of performers in an ongoing effort to present the best of Broadway, Cabaret and Nightclub artists.

STERLING'S UPSTAIRS Artist-In-Residence Joan Ryan once again takes center stage July 1.  In addition to her critically acclaimed starring role as Judy Denmark/Ginger DelMarco in the Los Angeles premiere of Ruthless! The Musical at the Canon Theatre in Beverly Hills, she has also starred in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Nunsense II, Angry Housewives, Nite Club Confidential, Suds, Duets For Five, Elegies – Stories From The Quilt, Hidden Broadway, the West Coast premiere of Stephen Sondheim's Anyone Can Whistle, The Taming of The Shrew, Cyrano De Bergerac and A Doll's House.  Television audiences will recognize Ryan from her recurring roles on The Young and The Restless and Saved by the Bell, among others. She has also released a self-titled CD. For additional information on Ryan, please visit her web site at www.joanryan.com

Paul Stroili's STRAIGHT UP WITH A TWIST is a "hilarious look at how the world is a cruel place when you are a straight guy with good taste and a great eye for color. The incomparable Mr. Stroili plays all the members of his eccentric family who struggle to understand a happily married guy who cannot work power tools, but can perfectly fold a fitted sheet." The autobiographical production will be presented at Sterling's Upstairs July 7, 8, 14, 15, 21, 22, 28, 29. For additional information on Stroili and STRAIGHT UP WITH A TWIST, please visit www.straight-up.com.

Performances will be presented once nightly.  Seating begins at 7:00 pm and includes a four-course, prix-fixe menu which offers three entree choices and a one hour show at the fantastic, value-packaged price of *$65.00 per person.

STERLING'S UPSTAIRS is produced by MICHAEL STERLING of Michael Sterling & Associates, the Sherman Oaks-based entertainment public relations company.
