Photo Flash: Opening Night at GoAlleyCat Productions' IT IS DONE West Coast Premiere

22Q Entertainment LLC and GoAlleyCat Productions presents the West Coast Premiere of the New York hit, IT IS DONE, a thrilling new play in an environmental setting, written by award-winning playwright Alex Goldberg and directed by Ovation award-winner Michael Michetti (The Twentieth Century Way, Carousel, Paradise Lost: Shadows and Wings). IT IS DONE opened on May 15 and runs through Tuesday, June 12 at the Pig ‘N Whistle Restaurant, 6714 Hollywood Blvd. in Hollywood. See photos from the opening night party below!

During a howling windstorm, three strangers are trapped inside a desolate bar in the middle of nowhere. Hank, the bartender has a dirty mind. Jonas, a man on the run, has a dirty secret. Ruby, marooned at the bar with car trouble, has a dirty job. This tense and taut site-specific production is performed in a real working bar with the tunes of Hank Williams running throughout. IT IS DONE allows the audience to be flies on the wall in the middle of the action as the actors move among them. Are these people connected? Is it a coincidence that they're all there at the same time? Who will snap first?

Michael Michetti (Director) is the Co-Artistic Director of The Theatre @ Boston Court in Pasadena where he has directed John Walch's The Dinosaur Within, Tom Jacobson's The Twentieth-Century Way, Deborah Stein's God Save Gertrude, Jason Grote's 1001, Eric Whitacre's Paradise Lost: Shadows & Wings, Carlos Murillo's Dark Play or Stories For Boys, his own adaptation of Oscar Wilde's A Picture of Dorian Gray, Sinan Ünel's Pera Palas, Charles L. Mee's Summertime, and Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet.

A director of plays and musicals, new works and classics, his diverse credits include: Kiss Me, Kate (Ovation Award, Best Musical), Carousel, Man of La Mancha and Li'l Abner at Reprise; Tom Jacobson's House of the Rising Son at Ensemble Studio Theatre L.A. and Ouroboros at the Road Theatre; The Comedy of Errors, Hamlet, Don Juan and As You Like It at A Noise Within; Brecht's Edward II and Aphra Behn's The Rover for Circle X; David Hare's Amy's View starring Carol Lawrence at Florida Rep; Michael Frayn's Noises Off at PlayMakers Repertory Theatre; David Mamet's A Life in the Theatre starring HAl Holbrook at the Pasadena Playhouse; Sondheim's Anyone Can Whistle and Sweeney Todd; and A Midsummer Night's Dream.
