Real-life husband-and-wife Orson Bean and Alley Mills are set to star in the West Coast premiere of Noel Coward's, A Song at Twilight, from January 16-March 7 at the Odyssey Theatre. James Glossman directs the production.

A Song at Twilight is a play in two acts by Noël Coward. It is one of a trio of plays collectively entitled Suite in Three Keys, all of which are set in the same suite in a luxury hotel in Switzerland. The play depicts an elderly writer confronted by his former mistress with facts about his past life that he would prefer to forget.

First produced in 1966, the play is one of Coward's last works for the stage.

In A Song at Twilight, a secret is revealed. Is it Coward or is it fiction? A Song at Twilight is an insightful behind-the-scenes look at fame, sexual preference, wealth and privilege. David Rogge join stars Orson Bean (Awake and Sing), Alley Mills and Laurie O'Brien (Mary Barnes and Times Like These).

The creative team features Darcy Prevost (scenic design), Leigh Allen (lighting design), Audrey Eisner (costume design), and Vin Scelsa (sound design).

Bean is Tony-nomination for Subways Are For Sleeping.  Additional Broadway credits include John Murray Anderson's Almanac, Will Success Spoil Rock Hunter, and Never Too Late. He is also known for his film and television appearances, including Being John Malkovich and as a long-time panelist on the game show To Tell the Truth. Mills is best known as Norma Arnold on The Wonder Years and as Pamela Douglas on The Bold and the Beautiful.

The Odyssey Theatre Ensemble's mission remains firm: the creation of new work, the revitalization and re-exploration of classical material, consistent experimentation with the most current developments at the forefront of the "state of the art" in the interNational Theatre world, ongoing investigation of the "process" of creating theatre, and continuing development of new acting, directing, and writing talent via the Actor's Laboratory, Play Development Program, and Emerging Directors Plan. Ultimately, the institution moves toward the creation of a larger International Experimental Theatre Center, facilitating the crosspolination of artists from different countries, cultures and disciplines, and the exposure of this collaborative work to the Southern California audience.
