Natalie Cole is confirmed to make a special guest appearance at the The Hollywood Bowl's presentation of the rhythms and sounds of Cuba on Wednesday, August 24 at 8:00 PM, part of the 2011 Jazz at the Bowl series. Cole is set to perform two songs with Arturo Sandoval & the L.A. All-Star Big Band. The evening also includes performances by the Orquesta Buena Vista Social Club® featuring Omara Portuondo and Ninety Miles featuring Stefon Harris, David Sanchez, and Christian Scott. This Cuban-themed event brings together the sights and sounds of Cuba with projections of selected photos from the Getty's new photography exhibition, A Revolutionary Project: Cuba from Walker Evans to Now.

The Jazz at the Bowl series at the Hollywood Bowl, curated by the LA Phil Creative Chair for Jazz Herbie Hancock, continues with George Benson and DMS featuring George Duke, Marcus Miller, David Sanborn (August 31), and Quincy Jones featuring The Global Gumbo All-Stars and Friends (September 7).
