A revival of The Actors' Gang's 1992 hit show Klüb continues The Gang's 25th Anniversary Season tribute to its artistic roots, and reunites the company with writer Mitch Watson, director Michael Schlitt and songwriter David Arnott.

Klüb opens on Saturday, April 12 with performances continuing through May 10 and low-priced previews on April 10 and 11.  The Actors' Gang is located in the Ivy Substation at 9070 Venice Blvd. in downtown Culver City.

"Klüb is an existential comedy in which 10 highly dysfunctional performers must audition with their life stories to escape from a play in which they are trapped.  Call it A Chorus Line in reverse," describe press notes.

Reprising the roles they created in 1992 are Watson and Schlitt, who perform on stage as well as writing and directing, along with Joseph Grimm and Michael Neimand; additionally, the production reunites The Gang with long-time company member Evie Peck.  Also in the cast are Brian Allman, Hannah Eden Chodos, Emilia Herman, Nathan Kornelis, Lauren Oppelt, Robert Shampain and Beth Tapper.

Set design and lighting design for Klüb are by Francois-Pierrre Couture, and costume design is by Sarah Brown.

Performances of Klüb take place Thursdays and Fridays 8 pm and Saturdays at 8 pm & 10:30 pm, April 12 through May 10.  There is no 10:30 pm performance on Saturday, April 12.  Two preview performances takes place at 8 pm on Thursday, April 10 and Friday, April 11.  The performance on Friday, April 18 will be sign-language interpreted for the hearing impaired.  Tickets on Fridays and Saturdays at 8 pm are $25.00; tickets on Saturdays at 10:30 pm are $15.00; all Thursday evening performances are Pay-What-You-Can.

The Actors' Gang is located in the Ivy Substation at 9070 Venice Boulevard (near the intersection of Culver and Venice Blvds.) in Culver City.  Two hours free parking is available throughout downtown Culver City; the Ince Parking Lot (corner of Culver and Ince) is directly across the street from the theater.  In addition, several restaurants (Italian, French, Thai, Japanese, and more) are only a few blocks' walk from The Actors' Gang and offer a variety of dining options before and after the theater.  The Ivy Substation is air-conditioned and wheelchair accessible.  For reservations and information, call The Actors' Gang Box Office at 310-838-GANG (310-838-4264) or go to www.theactorsgang.com.
