'Housewives' Star Denton Hosts Stroili's Show in LA, 7/29

On Saturday, July 29, James Denton, one of the stars of ABC Television's "Desperate Housewives," will host Paul Stroili's acclaimed one-man, autobiographical show Straight Up with a Twist at Sterling's Upstairs at Vitello's in Studio City, CA.

The show "is a hilarious look at how the world is a cruel place when you are a straight guy with good taste and a great eye for color. The incomparable Mr. Stroili plays all the members of his eccentric family who struggle to understand a happily married guy who cannot work power tools, but can perfectly fold a fitted sheet," state press notes. The production opened July 7 and continues through July 29.

The July 29 C.A.N. benefit performance of Straight Up with a Twist begins at 7:00 pm and includes a four-course, prix-fixe menu which offers three entree choices and a one hour show.  Following the show, audience members will have the opportunity to personally meet and greet Denton and Stroili.
