Forbidden Broadway - Twenty-fifth Anniversary Edition opens At The Grove Theatre on Thursday, April 2, 2009. This show recently closed in New York after a 25 year run. It is coming directly to The Grove Theatre with the acclaimed New York cast, and the New York set and props. The show will be here for 2 weeks only - with 6 shows each week.

The acclaimed New York cast presents the side-splitting savagery known as Forbidden Broadway in its newest edition, proving the enduring appeal of the show's wicked, wicked ways.

Every year the madly inventive Gerard Alessandrini updates his scathing homage to Broadway's biggest shows and brightest stars. Having celebrated its record-breaking 25th year in New York, this year's Special Victims include the puppets of "Avenue Q", the witches of "Wicked", Robert Goulet in "La Cage aux Folles", "Billy Joel's Movin Out", and new looks at old favorites "Little Shop of Horrors" "Les Miz", "Beauty and the Beast", "The Lion King" and "Chicago". Rounding out the laughs are Mel Brooks' "The Producers", Abba's "Mamma Mia", and "Thoroughly Modern Millie"; with lots more Broadway past and present.

This is a rare opportunity to see a New York show performed in the Inland Empire. And opening night includes a Q & A with the cast after the show.
