Cirque du Soleil Announces Additional Performances Of KOOZA In Santa Monica, Runs 12/1-20

By:

Due to overwhelming demand, Cirque du SoleilTM announced today that 29 additional performances, from December 1 to 20, 2009, will be added to the KOOZA show schedule in Santa Monica. KOOZA must close on December 20 and move to Orange County where it will premiere on January 8, 2010. Proudly presented by iShares, KOOZA is now performing under the trademark blue-and-yellow Grand Chapiteau (big top) at the Santa Monica Pier.

Tickets for these 29 additional performances are now available at 1 800 450-1480, online at www.cirquedusoleil.com/kooza at the KOOZA Box Office at the Santa Monica Pier or by phone

KOOZA is a return to the origins of Cirque du Soleil that combines two circus traditions - acrobatic performance and the art of clowning. The show highlights the physical demands of human performance in all its splendor and fragility, presented in a colorful mélange that emphasizes bold slapstick humor.
