Cirque du Soleil will return to Santa Monica to present the live touring show KOOZA for a limited engagement starting on October 16, 2009. Proudly presented by iShares, KOOZA will perform under the trademark blue and yellow Grand Chapiteau (big top) at the Santa Monica Pier in celebration of the Pier's Centennial and Cirque du Soleil's 25th Anniversary.

Following the Santa Monica run, KOOZA will move to Orange County for performances starting on January 7, 2010 at a new big top location, the Orange County Great Park in Irvine.

For both cities, specially-priced tickets are available now to Cirque Club members for an exclusive period through June 15 at www.cirquedusoleil.com. Membership is free and registration is quick and simple. Cirque Club members receive advance access to the best seats under the Grand Chapiteau, ticket upgrades, partner promotions and insider information on the world of Cirque du Soleil. On June 16, tickets will be available to the general public for Santa Monica and Orange County.

KOOZA is a return to the origins of Cirque du Soleil that combines two circus traditions - acrobatic performance and the art of clowning. The show highlights the physical demands of human performance in all its splendor and fragility, presented in a colorful mélange that emphasizes bold slapstick humor.
