COMICS READING COMICS will join the Hollywood Fringe Festival this June with performances at Three Clubs in Los Angeles.

The comedy celebrates vintage superhero comics from the 1950s and 1960s, bringing their stories to life through live readings performed word-for-word onstage. Featuring handmade props, costumes, and audience participation, the show highlights the humor, unusual plot twists, and pop culture sensibilities found in classic comic books.

Among the stories featured are adventures involving Superman, Batman, Robin, and other comic book characters, presented through a comedic lens that embraces the style and storytelling conventions of the era.

The cast includes Dan Mintz, known as the voice of Tina Belcher on Bob's Burgers; comedian and writer Dana Gould; Stanzi Potenza; Colin Stanley; and Serra Naiman.

The creative team includes Nick Malis and Shoshanna Green. Malis is the head writer and executive producer of Tosh.0 and has also written for Avatar: The Last Airbender and The Howard Stern Show. Green is a performer, writer, and member of the sketch comedy team Corduroy, and creates the production's cardboard props.

Performances will take place at Three Clubs, located at 1123 N. Vine Street in Hollywood, on June 7 and June 14 at 7:30 p.m., and June 22 at 9:30 p.m.

The production is part of the 2026 Hollywood Fringe Festival lineup.
