The John W. Engeman Theater at Northport is pleased to ring in this Holiday Season with MIRACLE ON 34TH STREET, THE MUSICAL. Joy comes to Main Street as this traditional holiday tale arrives to celebrate the wonder of the winter season! Little Susan, doubtful there is a real Santa Claus, meets a convincing department store Santa and discovers dreams can come true if you believe. This inspiring story is a gift for the entire family.
MIRACLE ON 34TH STREET will play the following performance schedule: Thursdays at 8:00 p.m., Fridays at 8:00 p.m., Saturdays at 8:00 p.m., and Sundays at 2:00 p.m.IN ADDITION, there will be matinees on the following days: Saturdays November 21 & 28, December 12, 19, & 26 and January 2 at 3:00 p.m.; Wednesdays December 23 & 30 at 2:00 p.m.; and Thursday December 31 at 2:00 p.m.ALSO there will performances on Sundays November 29, December 6, 13, 20, & 27, January 3, at 7:00 p.m.Tickets are NOW ON SALE and are $60. Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express accepted.MIRACLE ON 34TH STREET is produced for the John W. Engeman Theater by Richard T. Dolce, the theater's Producing Artistic Director. The director is Erick Divine who performed on stage at the John W. Engeman Theater as the Padre in MAN OF LA MANCHA last season and has appeared in CANDIDE (with Kristin Chenoweth) and ANNIE WARBUCKS (with Gavin MacLeod).The Musical Director is Mike Pettry who is a New York based composer/lyricist and musician and who recently performed in ROOMS: A ROCK ROMANCE (off-Broadway run at New World Stages) and was the Musical Director for RENT at the John W. Engeman Theater. The Casting Director is Stephen DeAngelis who has been a member of the John W. Engeman Theater since its inception and has cast all of the main stage productions as well as the ongoing Broadway Concert Series. Stephen is on staff at Grey NYC having cast over 2,200 network television and radio commercials. The Production Manager is Michael Leslie.
