Long Island's Largest Solar Eclipse Viewing Party Set for Hudson's on the Mile Today

Freeport Mayor Robert Kennedy will host Long Island's largest outdoor solar eclipse viewing party with local astronomy experts and free protective eye glasses to the first 100 people, Monday, August 21, 2017 at 1:00 p.m., Hudson's on the Mile, 340 Woodcleft Avenue, Freeport, NY.
The nation's first elevated solar party deck will be unveiled to the public in a ceremony for the historic eclipse. For the first time in 99 years there will be a solar eclipse.There will be special cosmic drinks by Hudson's on the Mile. The public has gone crazy for protective solar eye glasses that has been sold out in almost every store in the tri-state region.
