Lively Arts Series at Suffolk County Community College to Present THE CASHORE MARIONETTES, 9/28

The Lively Arts Series at Suffolk County Community College will present two showings of The Cashore Marionettes in the Van Nostrand Theatre on the Michael J. Grant Campus on Saturday, September 28, 2013. This award winning program of moving vignettes features the Cashore's internationally acclaimed marionettes.

At 3:00 p.m., enjoy Simple Gifts, a series of touching portrayals and poignant scenes from everyday life set to stunning music by such composers as Vivaldi, Strauss, Beethoven and Copland. This show is geared toward families with children over eight years of age.

At 8:00 p.m., in the performance Life in Motion, characters of depth, integrity, and humanity are portrayed in a full evening unlike anything else in theatre today. This performance is geared toward adults and young adults who have attained middle school age.
