Bay Street Theatre has announced the SPRING FLING dance on Saturday, April 20 at 8 pm. Tickets are $15 in advance online at www.baystreet.org or at the Box Office at 631-725-9500 or $25 on the day of the event.
THE HOODOO LOUNGERS, MAMALEE ROSE & FRIENDS and MOORE JOHANSSON will bring an eclectic mixture of folk, golden oldies, blues and New Orleans craziness suitable for some serious dancing and listening. Also, be part of the recording of the HOODOO LOUNGERS new CD to be recorded at this show by Grammy winning producer Cynthia Daniels.
It's not a dance party without the music of the HOODOO LOUNGERS! The band brings all the sounds, excitement and feeling of a true New Orleans Mardi Gras. From the funk of the Neville Brothers and the Meters, to the R&B of Dr. John and Professor Longhair to the traditional Dixieland and Jazz of Louis Armstrong and Louis Prima, the band offers a variety of sounds for a great party. The nine piece band plays the full spectrum of New Orleans music in a fast paced, dynamic show.
MAMALEE ROSE & FRIENDS is a 6 piece band featuring two female vocalists playing R&B, Soul, Rock, and standards. They have been regulars on the Hamptons music scene for more than 20 years.
MOORE JOHANSSON blends the angelic voice, harmonies and violin playing of Kristen Moore with the unique tone and profound guitar playing of Dick Johansson. Together they make a great duo performing everything from jazz to country.
