Bay Street Theater To Host A Theatrical Excursion To Naples, FL In March

Bay Street Theater & Sag Harbor Center for the Arts is inviting its supporters to fly south for a fabulous theatrical retreat to sunny Naples, Florida.
The warm weekend kicks off on Friday, March 1st with a pre-theater dinner, followed by house seats to INTO THE BREECHES by George Brant at Gulf Shore Playhouse including a private pre-theater discussion with a member of Gulf Shore's team.
On Saturday, March 2nd, the group will enjoy an exclusive "hard hat tour" of the brand new Gulf Shore Playhouse—not yet open to the public. That evening participants will enjoy a pre-theater dinner followed by prime orchestra seating at Artis-Naples Philharmonic POPS for a performance of SHE'S GOT SOUL, featuring powerhouse star of Broadway, vocalist Capathia Jenkins. Together with a trio of fabulous backup singers, this captivating night of soul and R&B favorites will blow the roof off the joint, as she did with her ovation-invoking performances on Broadway in "Caroline or Change" and "Newsies".
On Sunday, the group will meet for a fabulous brunch with time after to enjoy all Naples has to offer including pristine beaches, wonderful shopping, culture including the Baker Museum, and fine dining.
On Monday, March 4th participants will attend The Gulf Shore Playhouse Annual Gala, PUTTIN' ON THE RITZ dressed in your finest roaring 20's attire at the Naples Ritz-Carlton Hotel. The Cost is $1850 per person (exclusive of travel and lodging) which Includes a $500 donation to Bay Street Theater.

About Capathia Jenkins and SHE'S GOT SOUL
Capathia Jenkin's vocal and acting talent is frequently sought out for live concert performances with orchestras around the country, television appearances, and film soundtracks. Jenkins' charisma and skill will light up the stage as she is joined by the Naples Philharmonic to take audiences on a journey of legendary R&B and soul music. The SHE'S GOT SOUL program is set to include songs by soulful favorites such as Adele, Chaka Khan, Stevie Wonder, and many, many others. Songs include Adele's "Rolling in the Deep" & "Skyfall", Anita Baker's "Sweet Love" and Toni Braxton's "Un-Break My Heart".
