How do fans commemorate 2,000 "lap" dances, 8,000 simulated org*sms, 78,164 hot flashes and 180,000 minutes of unbridled laughter spread over 2,000 memorable performances of Menopause The Musical®?

Luxor will do so by giving away an incredible package to one lucky winner, and his or her guest, which will include a two-night stay in a penthouse suite, tickets to Menopause The Musical®, dinner at Tender Steak & Seafood and spa services at Nurture Spa--- a prize package valued at $2,000! To be eligible, guests of the show must fill out an entry form located inside their Menopause The Musical® program and deposit the form inside the drum located directly outside the theater by Tuesday, Aug. 31. A drawing will take place Wednesday, Sept. 15 to select the winner.

Inspired by a hot flash and a bottle of wine, writer and producer Jeanie Linders created the show as a celebration of women who are on the brink of, in the middle of or have survived "The Change." From its first performance, Menopause The Musical® has evolved as a "grassroots" movement of women who deal with life after 40 and all the challenges that result in the mental, physical and spiritual freedom of the post-World War II baby boomer generation.

Since 2001, the hilarious show has entertained and inspired audiences worldwide. Menopause The Musical® has launched a women's movement that has superseded entertainment, empowered its audiences and become a must-see event. Consisting of parodies from the classic songs of the ‘60s, ‘70s and '80s, the show is filled with optimism, connection and laughter. It had its modest debut in a converted perfume shop in downtown Orlando, Fla., on March 28, 2001. After nine years with productions from Off-Broadway to Brisbane and Toronto to Texas, the curtain rises with consistent success. In a city where there are 132 shows daily, Las Vegas Review-Journal's Len Butcher said, "Dollar for dollar, it's the best show in town."

The Las Vegas cast includes Paige O'Hara who was the voice of Belle in the Disney classic "Beauty and The Beast" as well as local favorites Laura Lee O'Connell, Skye Miles, Annette Verdolino, Sandra Benton, Lori Legacy and Cheryl Spencer.

Showtimes for Menopause The Musical® in the Atrium Showroom at Luxor are 5:30 p.m. daily and at 5:00 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. on Tuesdays. During Carrot Top's monthly dark week, performances are scheduled for 8:00 p.m. Ticket are priced from $49.95 - $65.00, not including taxes and service charges, and can be purchased by calling (702) 262-4400 or by visiting www.luxor.com.
