Seth Meyers Performs at The Mirage, 7/30

Comedian Seth Meyers will perform his entertaining stand-up routine when he debuts at The Mirage Hotel & Casino Saturday, July 30. He will take the stage at the Terry Fator Theatre at 10 p.M. Meyers recently wrapped his 10th season on the award-winning variety show, "Saturday Night Live (SNL)."

Meyers recently completed his fifth season not only as the head writer, but as the anchor of SNL's longest-running recurring sketch, "Weekend Update." Prior to focusing his attention solely on "Weekend Update," Meyers was a regular player in the show, impersonating numerous characters and performing various impressions. Most notable was his portrayal of Senator John Kerry during the show's satire of the 2004 Presidential election.Meyers, a graduate of Northwestern University, studied and performed at ImprovOlympic (iO), a world-famous improv comedy theater in Chicago. Notable iO alumni include Tina Fey, Amy Poehler, Jason Sudeikis, Mike Meyers, Chris Farley and Rachel Dratch. After leaving Chicago, Meyers went overseas and began performing his acclaimed show, "Pick-ups and Hiccups," with partner Jill Benjamin at the Boom Chicago Theater in Amsterdam.Videos
