Michael Godard, AMERICA'S GOT TALENT LIVE IN LAS VEGAS, Support Hard Rock's Pinktober™

By:

Hard Rock Cafes in Las Vegas, NV welcomed rockstar artist Michael Godard and America's Got Talent Live in Las Vegas stars, Joe Castillo, Spencer Horsman and Tom Cotter yesterday in support of the brand's 13th annual PINKTOBER™ breast cancer awareness campaign.

Rockstar artist, Michael Godard, donated a special breast cancer awareness piece of art titled "Angel Hair." The piece will be donated to the Pink Heals Foundation and will be auctioned off with all proceeds going to a local charity for cancer research.

Also making an appearance yesterday to show their support were stars from America's Got Talent Live in Las Vegas, including comedian Tom Cotter, sand artist Joe Castillo and escape artist Spencer Horsman. The threesome was shopping for limited-edition merchandise which includes a PINKTOBER 2012 T-shirt, bracelet, pin and more.

Proceeds from the sale of PINKTOBER™ merchandise benefit The Breast Cancer Research Foundation and The Caron Keating Foundation (U.K.) with 75 percent of the retail price of each pin and 15 percent of the retail price of other products going directly to the cause.

For women in their twenties, thirties and early forties, a cancer diagnosis and the journey that follows can be especially devastating. Surgery, chemotherapy and radiation treatments can strip young women of their looks, confidence and sense of self – in what would ordinarily be the prime of their lives. After months of exhaustive treatments, finding a 'new normal' can be difficult, especially amidst pressure to move forward and get on with life. Pink Heals is dedicated to helping young women regain their strength and beauty with fun, confidence building programming and events. For more information, please visit www.pinkheals.org.
