MONDAYS DARK to Celebrate Two Year Anniversary in December

By:

Mark Shunock, star of "Rock of Ages" at The Venetian Las Vegas, and creator/producer of Mondays Dark, has announced that tickets are on sale now for the Mondays Dark two-year anniversary celebration taking place on Monday, Dec. 14 (doors 7 p.m., show 8 p.m.) at The Joint inside the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino. Tickets start at $20 and are available at www.mondaysdark.com (or direct link: http://axs.com/events/289822/mondays-dark-with-mark-shunock-anniversary-show-tickets?skin=thejoint).

Touted as the "philanthropic event of the year," Mondays Dark will celebrate all 11-featured charities from 2015 and announce the 11-featured charities for 2016-bringing together 22 local charities under one roof. Shunock will assemble an all-star lineup (to be announced) for the anniversary celebration. Since Mondays Dark began in November of 2013, they have raised nearly $250,000 for local Las Vegas charities.

"We're keeping the Mondays Dark momentum going, closing out year two by crossing the quarter of a million dollar mark in money raised for so many charities right here in the Las Vegas valley," said Shunock. "This two-year anniversary show and celebration is going to be a night of nights and is not to be missed. We're going to blow the roof off of The Joint!"

Once a month from January to November, Shunock gathers an eclectic cast of stars from Hollywood, the Strip, musical acts, athletes and celebrity chefs for 90-minutes of entertainment, song and a lot of laughs at Vinyl inside the Hard Rock. Each month, a different Las Vegas-based nonprofit is selected and 100 percent of all ticket and silent auction proceeds stay with that organization. An average of $10,000 is raised each month.

The 2015 featured charities are: The Center; Blind Center of Nevada; Dress for Success Southern Nevada; Olive Crest; Keep Memory Alive; ORION Cancer Foundation; United Way of Southern Nevada; Three Square Food Bank; Las Vegas Labrador Rescue; Project 150 and Home Aid Southern Nevada.

Tickets are $20 for reserved seating and $50 for VIP reserved seating (VIP includes entry to an after party at Vinyl.) To purchase general and VIP tickets, visit www.mondaysdark.com. A limited number of special box seats are available, which include food, drinks and entry to the after party. To purchase box seat tickets, call 702.485.1262.

Mondays Dark is sponsored, in part, by: Hard Rock Hotel & Casino (including Vinyl Las Vegas and The Joint); LEO; Chapman Automotive Group; Greenspun Media Group; Gay.Vegas and Rock of Ages Las Vegas.
