Hot Rod City Las Vegas Pays Homage to the Late Paul Walker, from FAST AND FURIOUS

By:

Hot Rod City Las Vegas (www.hotrodcitylasvegas.com) pays tribute to the late Paul Walker, star of the massively popular "Fast & Furious" film franchise, with a memorial display featuring two import tuner stunt cars that were featured in one of the films-both of which, ironically, crashed and burned onscreen.

The world famous lime green 1995 Mitsubishi Eclipse and the red 1993 Mazda RX-7 both appeared in "The Fast and the Furious," the first film of the franchise.

Walker, who played undercover police officer turned FBI agent Brian O'Connor in the F&F films, was killed November 30 in a single car crash in Santa Clarita, California along with his friend Roger Rodas, partner in Walker's charity Reach Out Worldwide.

On Thursday and Friday, December 6-7 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Hot Rod City will waive the $15 entry fee for Walker fans wishing to see the display or contribute items to it.

The crown jewel of Hot Rod City, a multi-faceted automotive mecca located at 5115 Dean Martin Drive #905, Las Vegas, NV 89118, is The Dezer Collection (www.dezercollection.com). Since opening in 2011, this collection has become a dynamic must see part of the ever happening retro and custom car culture in Las Vegas. It became so popular that it quickly expanded from its initial 5,000 to a 25,000 square foot space.

The "Fast & Furious" tuner stunt cars are among the 60 cars and 30 motor scooters at Hot Rod City from The Dezer Collection, which boasts a total of 1,800 vehicles, including a James Bond movie car collection valued at $15 million.

A classic car and scooter collector since the 70s, Michael Dezer's 200,000 square foot museum Sunny Isles, Florida (conveniently located between Miami and Ft. Lauderdale) showcases the original Dezer Collection, which displays over 1600 of his vehicles.

The Dezer Collection of Las Vegas features some of his most popular vehicles. Many of these are film and TV icons, including the "Beverly Hillbillies" jalopy, theMercedes from "The Hangover," the "Back To The Future" DeLorean, KITT (the talking Trans Am from "Knight Rider," the Harley that Arnold Schwarzeneggerrode in "The Terminator" films, the Dragula (Grandpa Munster's hot rod coffin on wheels), the "GenerAl Lee" Dodge Charger from "Dukes of Hazard" and the"Robocop" police car.
