Craig A. Meyer Rocks The Suncoast Showroom As 'Almost Elton John' 5/29-30

Multi talented musician and theater performer Craig A. Meyer brings his one-of-a-kind tribute and impression of living legend Sir Elton John to the Suncoast Showroom stage for two performances in Almost Elton John, May 29 and 30.
Almost Elton John is a musical journey celebrating the life and decades of chart topping hits of Sir Elton John, including: "Benny and the Jets," "Don't Let the Sun Go Down On Me," "Crocodile Rock," "Goodbye Yellow Brick Road," "Candle in the Wind," among many others. Meyer's tribute celebrates the character, costumes and charisma of the famed pianist and singer, and has captivated audiences throughout the United States and abroad. Joining Meyer on stage are special guests Wendy Edmead and Lance Roberts.Though he has a close resemblance to and an uncanny ability to sound like the rock legend, Meyer did not begin his career as a nationally recognized Elton John tribute artist. His resume is filled with Broadway and regional theater credits including Meet Me In St. Louis, Forever Plaid, Starlight Express, Cats, Crazy For You, 42nd Street, among others. He has had roles in several television programs, including Will & Grace, Unsolved Mysteries and Family Law, and appeared in the 2008 film Leatherheads directed by and starring George Clooney.The Suncoast Showroom is a 500-seat venue featuring booth and table seating.
