Music of the Night at Music Theatre Kansas City

Music of the Night is a theatrical concert celebrating the songs written by Andrew Lloyd Webber. The composer has enjoyed global success and has been at the forefront of musical theatre for more than five decades – his shows and music beloved by audiences worldwide. Featuring songs from fourteen of his shows, this ninety-minute intimate showcase, under the musical direction of Julie Danielson, highlighted many audience favorites coupled with a few rare gems from the ALW songbook. Songs from Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Jesus Christ Superstar, Evita, Tell Me on a Sunday, Cats, Song and Dance, Starlight Express, The Phantom of the Opera, Aspects of Love, Sunset Boulevard, Whistle Down the Wind, By Jeeves, Love Never Dies and The Wizard of Oz are all featured.
