New works demand attention at the Barn Players Ninth Annual 6 X 10 Play Festival, December 9th – 11th, 2016. This annual gathering showcases six original ten minute plays all written by local Kansas City talent. This years outstanding selections include: "Old Friends," by Tim Landon, directed by Jason Hegg; "Worst Poltergeist" by Lezlie Revelle Zucker, directed by Alexa Cioffi; "Bernice's Birthday" by Brigid Amos, directed by Shari Wassergord; "Miss Hedda and Her Seagull?" by Jessica Whitfield, directed by Steven James; "Old Girl" by John Adams, directed by Korey Childs; and "Freedom We Fear" by Lewis Morrow, directed by James Weber.
