A classic love story is brought up-to-date in one of the most stunning theatrical spectacles of all time. In Miss Saigon, Puccini's Madame Butterfly is brought to the modern world. This powerful pop opera is an emotional tale about forbidden love, the tragedies of war and the sacrifices made to achieve the American Dream. Tony Award-winning musical Miss Saigon, created by the visionaries behind Les Miserables, features a touching love story told through a series of sensational musical numbers including "Why God Why?" and "The American Dream.”

Miss Saigon relates the story of Puccini's Madame Butterfly set during the Vietnam War. As the war turns against the Americans, villagers are rushing to Saigon for refuge. One of them is Kim, a 17-year-old girl whose family was killed. She becomes a reluctant bar girl at the Dreamland club employed by The Engineer (her pimp) where one perfect night she meets a young American GI, Chris. The two quickly fall in love and move in together. When Saigon falls however, Chris is evacuated and must leave Kim behind. She gives birth to their son, Tam, and with the unlikely ally of The Engineer, find their way to Bangkok. It is here where they all meet again with a tragic end to this epic musical.
