New Spoof Comes to KC in Honor of The War Of The Worlds' 80th Anniversary

80 years after Orson Welles terrified the nation with the War of the Worlds, Right Between the Ears celebrates (and spoofs) the notorious "panic broadcast" with a new radio play, to be performed at Musical Theatre Heritage Stage 2, Crown Center at 7:30pm on Friday and Saturday, November 16 and 17.

Powerful story, top notch stagecraft, and excellent acting make the Unicorn production of 'Sweat' by Lynn Nottage a must see before you cast your ballot on November 6.  'Sweat' begins to explain divisions in the 2018 electorate and how they developed.  The Pulitzer committee agreed and awarded this work the prize for drama in 2017.

Park ICM 18-19 Season Kicks Off With Behzod Abduraimov, Today

Performing at the Graham Tyler Memorial Chapel in Parkville, Abduraimov will perform one of the world's most beloved piano concerto's, Ludwig Von Beethoven's Piano Concerto No. 1 in C-major, Op. 15. In his mid-20's when he completed the work, Beethoven fashioned it as a virtuoso work to showcase his own skills as a pianist.  Ioudenitch commented on having Behzod perform this work with the ICM Orchestra, "The work is known to have a kind of radiance, a youthfulness. The energy is high with lots of charm, perfect for Behzod."
