CYT to Present ALICE: A WONDER FULL NEW MUSICAL, 2/9 - 12

Christian Youth Theater (CYT) Kansas City North proudly presents ALICE: A WONDER FULL NEW MUSICAL,Thursday, February 9 – Sunday, February 12 at YouthFront Auditorium, 4715 Rainbow Blvd., Shawnee Mission, KS 66205.

This CYT original pop/rock opera version is like no Alice you've ever seen -it's a "wonder-filled" new musical full of surprises and twists on the classic story. A 2005 Stephen Schwartz/ASCAP national award winner based upon Alice's Adventures in Wonderland and Through the Looking Glass by Lewis Carroll, this modern adaptation filled with contemporary rock-style music is sure to fill audiences with wonder. More information can be found at our website at www.cytkc.org or by calling the CYT Box Office at 913.681.3318.

CYT nationally is the largest youth theater organization in the country with 21 locations in the US and Canada. CYT celebrates our 12th year in Kansas City and our expansion into Shawnee this season. We currently have locations throughout the metro including north (Gladstone), east (Lee's Summit), and south (Overland Park) and west (Shawnee). CYT is more than just great theater, we offer a variety of programs for our families and our community. Our core programs include after-school theater arts classes, summer camps and high-quality Broadway-style musical productions and serves approximately 850 families per year. During our 2011-2012 season, we will perform 11 musicals throughout the Kansas City metro! Additionally, we offer our HEART program as a full-integration opportunity for kids with special needs, HYPE leadership program, Project Dance, competitive improv team opportunities, and more!
