Angie Schworer, Natascia Diaz and More to Star in Arrow Rock Lyceum Theatre's 65th Season
Annie, 1776 and more will be featured in the Missouri theater's milestone season.
Broadway alum Angie Shworer, Natascia Diaz Diaz, Jonathan Hadley, Will Blum, and more have joined join Arrow Rocks 65th anniversary season! The season begins with "Annie," on the Lyceum stage from June 5-14. Stars Angie Schworer as Miss Hannigan, Erick Pinnick as Warbucks and Conner Gillooly as Rooster. Directed by Stephen Santa.
Then, celebrate America's 250th birthday with "1776," June 26-July 5. Bill English as John Adams, Jonathan Hadley as John Dickenson and Timothy Shew as Stephen Hopkins. Directed by Peter Reynolds.
July 17-26, step into a world of magic, mystery, and unexpected twists with "Into the Woods"-the musical that turns your favorite fairy tales on their heads. Natascia Diaz as the Witch, Jane Brockman as Jack's Mother and Will Blum as the Baker. Directed by Michael Lluberes.
Laughter and tears intertwine in a celebration of friendship, resilience, and the strength of Southern women in "Steel Magnolias," Aug. 14-23. Carey Van Driest will star as M'lynn with Mary Mattison as Shelby. Directed by Robyne Parrish.
"The Musical of Musicals: The Musical," Sept. 4-13, is five musicals for the price of one! It is a hilarious love letter to Broadway, where one simple plot-a tenant who can't pay the rent-gets reimagined in the iconic styles of Rodgers & Hammerstein, Stephen Sondheim, Jerry Herman, Andrew Lloyd Webber, and Kander & Ebb. Markia Nicole Smith as the Narrator and Tommy McDowell as The Leading Man. Directed by Tim Seib.
Agatha Christie's "And Then There Were None" closes out the summer season, Sept. 25-Oct. 4, when ten strangers arrive on a remote island with a secret that binds them all. Joshua Morgan as Doctor Armstrong. Directed by Robyne Parrish.
