Live Event Production Manager - Hughie's Event Production Services

Hughie’s Event Production Services is looking for an experienced Live Event Production Manager for our Cleveland office whose attitude, skills, and work ethic will embody our mission “to use our deep industry experience, innovative creativity, and cutting edge equipment to create memorable live events that help our clients deliver on their goals.” Our production managers are sharp, organized, and friendly professionals who work with our sales, technical, operations, warehouse, and accounting staff to help Hughie’s meet our goal of selling, preparing, and carrying out a successful event and providing a fantastic customer experience. We are looking for somebody dependable, personable, and enthusiastic who embraces any challenges that come their way.



Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Manage the team of technical staff, directing the work of technicians, and staff and crew on a show-by-show basis. Ensuring that appropriate support is provided in the event process from pre-production to project completion, including post-production meetings and/or follow up meetings



To coordinate necessary equipment for assigned events



To coordinate with Sales, Account Reps, and other departments to determine proper requirements for events



To ensure budgetary targets are met through the proactive management of staffing levels on an event-by-event basis. Minimize costs, where possible, whilst maintaining high standards of production value and client satisfaction



To work with the Director of Production and other Production Managers and Production Coordinators to ensure events are supported at a high level



To act as a client liaison and continue to maintain and build client relationships to a high standard



To assist in the costing and production of client proposals



To attend site visits and production meetings as required



To attend sales, ops, and team meetings as required





Skills:

Lead and manage staff and crew



Knowledge of the production process and resource/time management to realize production requirements



Communicate effectively



Coordinate production aspects effectively



Self-motivated and able to work under their own initiative





Experience:

Minimum of an Associates' degree in the related field is preferred, but not required. We will take into consideration your experience/skill level and what you bring to the table as an individual



Knowledge of all ends of equipment such as audio, video, lighting, staging, etc.



Minimum of 2 years experience in production management or equivalent field.

Salary: Starting at $50k commensurate with experience
