Director of Programs (Part-Time) - Open Stage Project, Inc.

Open Stage Project is a nonprofit closing the gender gap in technical theater by giving young women and nonbinary students hands-on training, mentorship, and backstage industry experience.



We are seeking a Part-Time Director of Programs to lead our educational programming, including afterschool classes, workshops, studio tours, mentorship coordination, and special events. This role works closely with teaching artists, industry partners, and the Events & Media Associate to deliver high-quality learning experiences for students.



Responsibilities

-Manage student applications, interviews, and onboarding.

-Plan and run student events: after-school classes, workshops, tours, showcases, and Capstone projects.

-Identify and coordinate with teaching artists, mentors, volunteers, and industry partners.

-Track program participation and outcomes for internal reporting.

-Collaborate with the Events & Media Associate on communications, scheduling, and event support.





Qualifications

-Experience in youth programs, arts education, or technical theater.

-Strong organization, communication, and project management skills.

-Excited to work with high school students.

-Commitment to equity and inclusive learning spaces.

-Availability for once monthly Monday afterschool classes; occasional evenings/weekends.
