Linebreak Arts, Inc., a nonprofit organization, is seeking an experienced freelance General Manager/Consultant to assist in organizing and managing an Off-Off-Broadway Showcase production in Manhattan from November 2026 through March 2027.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities will include reviewing, advising on, and coordinating:
• Submissions to and agreements with Actors’ Equity Association (AEA) and the venue, as well as agreements with actors and members of the technical and creative teams.
• Casting notices and the organization and scheduling of auditions, callbacks, rehearsals, and performances.
• Selection and coordination of appropriate insurance, vendors, theatrical payroll services, and other production services.
• General production scheduling, budgeting, administration and logistical coordination.
Qualifications
Candidates should have practical experience managing professional NYC Off-Off-Broadway or small Off-Broadway productions, including familiarity with AEA codes and agreements, theatrical payroll, budgeting, contracting, and production logistics.
Experience with AEA Showcase productions is particularly desirable.
This is a paid freelance consulting position (remote). Compensation is $1000/month and may varies depending on experience and the agreed scope of work.
