With the apocalypse well under way, angels have traded in their wings for weapons as a celestial battle against an old and senile power brews in heaven. The rebellion permanently changes Marisol Perezs New York City existence after her guardian angel stops protecting her and joins the revolution. Without angelic assistance for the first time, Marisol fights to make sense of a world gone mad and her place in it.
