First produced on Broadway in 1964, winning ten Tony® Awards, including Best Musical, Hello, Dolly will open at the Alhambra on February 29. Hello, Dolly has become one of the most enduring musical theater hits, enjoying three Broadway revivals and international success. It was also made into a 1969 film that was nominated for seven Academy® Awards. The show's album Hello, Dolly! An Original Cast Recording was inducted into the Grammy® Hall of Fame in 2002.

Now, the Alhambra is bringing to life it's version, featuring Emmy® Award winning actress, Sally Struthers. Dolly is a brassy widow with a knack for matchmaking. She takes a trip to New York to meet a millionaire, Mr. Vandergelder whom has been courting another woman. She fixes up his store clerks with the woman he had been courting with hopes of making a match with Mr. Vandergelder herself. With a big star, spectacular costumes, vibrant dancing and incredible singing, Hello, Dolly is a must see show.

Built in 1967, the Alhambra Theatre and Dining is one of the very few remaining dinner theatres in America. It is nationally known, and actors come from all over the country to audition. Many of our past and present performers have worked on Broadway, and have done national and international tours. Even our customers have come from as far away as Sweden to see the shows we present.

The Alhambra is a symbol of entertainment, history and to several of our customers, a place of celebration. We have helped thousands of people celebrate anniversaries, birthdays, graduations, reunions and have even helped out with a few marriage proposals.
