The latest offering from playwright Donald Margulies presents a pair of war zone journalists whose nine year relationship is tested by a near death experience. Sarah, a photographer, and Jamie, a foreign correspondent, have spent their entire relationship on the front lines documenting famine, wars, and atrocities, but after Sarah sustains serious injuries from a car bombing in Iraq , Jamie brings her home to recuperate, only to find that their relationship might not survive the predictable day to day of domestic life. Time Stands Still focuses on the couple trying to find happiness in a world that seems to have gone crazy. Theirs is a partnership based on telling the toughest stories, and together, making a difference.
