The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring in Concert at Manchester Co-op Live

Peter Jackson's The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring is presented on a 60ft HD screen alongside a live performance of Howard Shore's Academy Award-winning score, performed by over 200 musicians and singers. The Manchester performance features the Halle Orchestra, marking the first time the production has been staged in the city. The film follows Frodo Baggins (Elijah Wood), a hobbit enlisted by the wizard Gandalf (Ian McKellen) to undertake an epic quest to save Middle-earth. This marks the 25th anniversary of the film's original release in 2001.
