The Tchaikovsky Perm State Ballet are returning to Dublin in November after their highly successful performances of SWAN LAKE and THE NUTCRACKER last December – and they will be presenting Prokofiev’s ROMEO AND JULIET – with choreography by Kenneth MacMillan
“A tragic tale of star-crossed lovers: Kenneth MacMillan’s poignant Ballet is a twentieth century classic”
To be premiered in Russia in May, The Tchaikovsky Perm State Ballet will be accompanied by The RTE National Symphony Orchestra in Dublin.
“This will be the biggest production we have ever staged in Ireland, enthused the organiser Simon Walton of International leisure and Arts, “it is the same version as presented by The Royal ballet (originally starring Rudolf Nureyev and Margot Fonteyn) and The American Ballet Theatre. I am really excited that our audiences are going to see something very special!”
