0800-CUPID is a genre-defying queer musical theatre show written, composed, and performed by Cork-born, London-reared Emer Dineen, and directed by Phillip McMahon. The show traces an extraordinary year in Dineen's life — navigating her father's dementia diagnosis, a Tourette's diagnosis, the loss of her call-centre job, and her nightlife career in drag as the crumbling club-kid alter ego "Cupid" — all set against the pulse of London's club scene. Featuring a live band with Tom Beech, Michael McCarthy, and Osazee Aiguokhian, alongside cast members Isabel Adomakoh Young and Carl Harrison, the show transforms the stage into an avant-garde nightclub-meets-concert experience. Produced by THISISPOPBABY, 0800-CUPID arrives at The Everyman as part of Cork Midsummer Festival 2026, following sold-out runs at Project Arts Centre Dublin and Soho Theatre London.
