TEDxBroadway Will Return to New World Stages in February

The organizers of TEDxBroadway announce today the event will return to New World Stages on Tuesday, February 27. With a long tradition of presenting a wide variety of speakers from theater, academics, government, hospitality, sciences and technology, the organizers will expand the scope even further this year to find new voices to address "What's the BEST Broadway Can Be?"

"Each year, we spend months researching, identifying and discussing topics and leaders in their field that we believe will inspire the audience," says Damian Bazadona, TEDxBroadway Co-Organizer and founder of Situation Interactive. "And, we're so grateful for the feedback we've had and we'll continue to do that. But, now, we're excited to see what topics and new voices we'll hear from having online submissions to speak at TEDxBroadway 2018."

TEDxBroadway speaker submissions are now being accepted at www.TEDxBroadway.com/applications until October 1, 2017. Applications will be reviewed by a committee made up of TEDxBroadway past speakers and staff.

"There's a lot that goes into creating a good talk," adds Jim McCarthy, TEDxBroadway Co-Founder and CEO of Goldstar. "My best advice for those applying comes from the TED Commandments, 'Thou Shalt Reveal Thy Curiosity and Thy Passion.' In addition to that, 'Thou Shalt Not Simply Trot Out Thy Usual Shtick.'"

Registration for the TEDxBroadway conference will begin at 1:15PM on February 27, 2018. Tickets are $100.
