Nominated for four Tony Awards, including Best Musical, Waitress celebrates friendship, motherhood, and the magic of a well-made pie. Jenna, a waitress and expert pie maker, is stuck in a small town and a loveless marriage. Faced with an unexpected pregnancy, Jenna fears she may have to abandon the dream of opening her own pie shop – until a baking contest in a nearby county and the town's handsome new doctor offer her a tempting recipe for happiness. Supported by her quirky crew of fellow waitresses and loyal customers, Jenna summons the secret ingredient she's been missing all along: courage. Waitress was inspired by Adrienne Shelly’s film and features the music of six-time Grammy nominee Sara Bareilles. Beef & Boards’ production is directed and choreographed by Stephanie Torns (Les Misérables), who performed in the original Broadway cast of Waitress. Waitress is on stage for 48 performances through Aug. 31 in the intimate space of Beef & Boards Dinner Theatre. Tickets range from $57 to $85 and include Chef Larry Stoops’ dinner buffet and select beverages. Tickets to Beef & Boards productions are available exclusively through Beef & Boards Dinner Theatre, either online at beefandboards.com, or by contacting the box office at 317.872.9664. Third-party sellers are not authorized to offer tickets to Beef & Boards productions, and tickets purchased through sellers other than Beef & Boards may not be valid for Beef & Boards shows, and may incur additional fees. Waitress is rated PG-13 for mature content including adult language, violence, and adult themes.
