BUTLER THEATRE OPENS ITS SEASON WITH THE MINEOLA TWINS, Indianapolis, Butler Theatre is pleased to present The Mineola Twins by Paula Vogel, November 6-10, 2019 at the Schrott Center for the Arts on the campus of Butler University.Tony award-winner, Paula Vogels The Mineola Twins, a comedy in six scenes, four dreams and (at least) six wigs, is an allegory of identical good and bad twins Myrna and Myra, whose Culture Wars skirmishes span the Eisenhower, Nixon and Reagan/Bush years. Beautifully and sensitively written, this comedy is directed by William Fisher and promises to be a production chock full of surprises. "Paula Vogel is one of our country's finest playwrights, and we are delighted to share this fantastic and relevant play with the Indianapolis community," says Professor Diane Timmerman, Butler Theatre Department Chair.
