Devised Theater & Dance Show at Indiana State University Department of Theater

DEVISED THEATER AND DANCE SHOW

Devised by THTR 495: Devised Theater Practicum

Choreography by Spring 2024 Dance Classes

April 25-28, 2024

Thursday-Saturday at 7:30 PM; Sunday at 3:00 PM

ABOUT THE PLAY: Devised Theater is a process in which a group will create all aspecta of a production based on a concept. The students enrolled in the Devised Theater Practicum course will develop the idea and create a show during the Fall 2023 semester. Dances included in the show will emerge from dance courses offered in Spring 2024. Once the overall show concept is decided upon, more information will be provided. 

TICKETS: Tickets are $10 for general admission and $5 for Indiana State University students. Patrons are encouraged to purchase tickets online ahead of time; available seating is limited. Please bring your phone to scan your ticket upon arrival; no need to print it- you can also be checked in by name.

LOCATION: The performance will take place at Dreiser Theater in Dreiser Hall, located at 221 N. 6th Street Terre Haute, IN 47809, on the Indiana State University Campus. 

PARKING: Park in Lot 5 (Cherry and 5th) or Lot 10 (Cherry and 6th). Parking is free after 5:30 PM during the week and on weekends.

BOX OFFICE: You can purchase tickets with cash or check in person at the Dreiser Box Office on showdays one-hour prior to curtain. Note: The lobby is open one hour prior to curtain; the house opens thirty minutes prior to curtain.
