Broadway's Kyle Dean Massey to Perform at The Cabaret this Month

Kyle Dean Massey, star of Broadway's Next to Normal, Wicked, and Pippin, as well as the ABC series Nashville, will present his acclaimed cabaret show in Indianapolis on July 28. Fans can expect songs from his extensive career on Broadway as well as some of his favorites...the songs he heard nightly, the ones he played on guitar or belted in the shower, the ones that made him dance or mended his broken heart ... all songs he was not able to share the way he wanted until now.

Kyle Dean recently appeared on three seasons of ABC's Nashville as country music songwriter 'Kevin Bicks.' He is best known for his Broadway roles, starring as the title character in Pippin, Gabe in Next to Normal, Fiyero in Wicked, and Thalia in Xanadu. Kyle Dean has appeared on TV in The Good Wife, Inside Amy Schumer, High Maintenance, Up All Night, Hart of Dixie, and Cupid. Film credits include Sex And the City 2, Contest, and the upcoming film The Afterparty.

In addition to the performances, The Cabaret plans to reveal for the first time on July 28 its exciting plans for its permanent, downtown location.

The Cabaret selects students from our educational partners to sing in special spotlight performances prior to select shows with national and international performers. Two students from Center Grove High School, both of whom recently participated in a Cabaret master class with Broadway star Kyle Riabko (Hair, Spring Awakening), will open for Kyle Dean Massey's 9:30PM performance

Wilson Smith, a senior, is four-year member of varsity choirs at Center Grove, and has been seen in numerous theatrical productions at the school. Wilson was also a finalist in this years "American Songbook Academy" competition, held at The Palladium and hosted by Michael Feinstein.

Haley Burgh, also a senior at Center Grove High School, is currently a member of the multiple Grand Champion award winning varsity show choirs Sound System and CG Singers. This summer, Haley performed with the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra for Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban- In Concert. Her recent awards include the 2017 Outstanding Female Soloist at Show Choir Nationals in Nashville, Tennessee.
