BWW Reviews: AADYAM'S 1ST ORIGINAL MUSICAL #SINGINDIASING IS BACK

After a successful opening season last year, the musical SingIndiaSing came back with a season 2. The musical was staged on March 1, 2 and 3 at Jamshed Bhabha Theatre at NCPA, Mumbai and was a perfect spring surprise for theatre lovers in the city.

Conceptualized after the craze of singers hoping to get noticed on the reality stage in India, the musical masterfully follows the journey of our young aspirants who are willing to do all it takes to become India's next top singing sensation. After battling thousands of others to get on this coveted shortlist, the top 4 are willing to leave no stone unturned to ascend to the number 1 spot. The reward is not just a big cash prize, but also a gateway to fame and a massive head start in their budding music careers.

A storyline that would appeal to large number of youngsters with talent in India, the musical is set in the format of a reality show with cameras recording every contestant's every moves. For a generation fed on reality TV, the show comes as a connecting factor but wait, theres' something that makes it even more engaging. Through live voting pads placed on each seat - the audience collectively has a say in how the evening unfolds. Who'll win the show you attend? Vishnu- the true-blue rocker from Pune, Kitty - a sexy bar dancer from Dharavi, Jayashankar Iyer a.k.a Jazzy - A rapper with Carnatic rhythms from Chennai, or Shweta - the mysterious girl with a mask?
