The Color Purple, the poignant musical based on Alice Walker's Pulitzer Prize-winning novel, paints a powerful portrait of resilience and hope in the face of oppression. The Color Purple features a powerful and moving score that blends gospel, blues, and jazz influences. The music perfectly captures the characters' emotions, their struggles, and their moments of joy.
