Matthew Whitakers love for music began at an early age. At 9, he taught himself to play the Hammond B3 organ. Four years later, he became the youngest artist to be endorsed by Hammond in its 80+ year history. At 15, he was named a Yamaha Artist, the youngest to join the stellar group of jazz pianists.
