Dirt Dogs Theatre Co. presents the regional premiere of Airline Highway, written by Lisa D'Amour and co-directed by Malinda L. Beckham and Curtis Barber, as the closing production of the company's 10th anniversary season. Set in a dilapidated motel off Airline Highway in New Orleans, a group of misfits gathers to honor Miss Ruby, a beloved community figure and former exotic dancer nearing the end of her life. The play blends raw honesty and unapologetic humor to portray people living on the fringes of society who form an unconventional family. The ensemble cast includes Dave Osbie Shepard, Ashlyn Evans, Todd Thigpen, Brad Goertz, John Patterson, Elizabeth Marshall Black, Kyle Clark, Morgan Taylor Hughs, and Deborah Hope, among others.
