In 2016, Staatsballett dancer David Simic founded the „Ballettschule am Staatsballett“, which offers dance clas-ses for children. Each season, David Simic will also devise one big ballet production featuring the children. In the 2016/2017 season, the curtain of the Deutsche Oper Berlin will rise for “Coppélia”.
