Rodgers & Hammerstein Musical Revue Opens at Florida Rep's ArtStage Studio Theatre January 31

A Grand Night for Singing opens Friday, Jan. 31, and plays thru Mar. 16, with nearly sold-out preview performances on Jan 29 & 30 in The ArtStage Studio Theatre.
The show, directed by Michael Marotta, is a tasteful and imaginatively conceived revue of Rodgers & Hammerstein's musical theatre canon! This play strings together a legendary score with fresh and innovative musical arrangements, new characters and features songs that have become standards the world over. A Grand Night for Singing reminds us why Rodgers & Hammerstein's music has become the stuff of legend. Enjoy classics like "Some Enchanted Evening," "Shall We Dance," "Oh, What a Beautiful Morning," "If I Loved You" and, of course, "It's a Grand Night for Singing."
A Grand Night for Singing, with music and lyrics by Rodgers and Hammerstein, music arrangements by Fred Wells and conceived by Walter Bobbie plays Jan. 31 - Mar. 16, with nearly sold-out preview performances on Jan. 29 and 30. Regular performances are Tues. - Sat. at 8pm, with matinees on Wed., Sun., and selected Saturdays at 2pm.
