Gulfshore Playhouse is proud to announce the four plays that were chosen as finalists and will be featured in their Second Annual New Works Festival to take place September 1-7, 2014. The New Works Festival will bring together a team of actors and directors for a week-long festival in which each playwright will hone their play and then present their work to an audience.

The four finalists that will be featured are: Harlowe by Jennifer Lane, Rust On Bone by Bianca Sams, Shepherd's Bush by Scott C. Sickles, and Doublewide by Stephen Spotswood.

"I am delighted that we will be able to foster the work of each of these four plays during the New Works Festival. All four playwrights who will be participating are enormously talented, and I am honored that Gulfshore Playhouse will be presenting their work to Southwest Florida audiences," states Kristen Coury, Founder and Producing Artistic Director of Gulfshore Playhouse.
